Between Fire
and Form
A body of work exploring the tension between energy and structure, the cosmic and the intimate: painted from the inside out.
These five works form a constellation: each one a different temperature of the same fundamental inquiry: what does energy look like when it takes form, and what remains when form dissolves?

The Organism
Untitled I
Visceral and alive, this form erupts from pure black like something witnessed under a microscope: a coral, a cell, a biological system caught in the act of becoming. The grid structures bleeding in from the left speak of the urban and the engineered, yet they are consumed, overtaken. Nature reasserting itself against the geometric. The orange is not decorative; it is urgent.

The Excavation
Untitled II
The most layered and meditative of the collection. Greys, ochres and dark browns accumulate like geological time: sediment pressing down on sediment, each stratum holding the memory of what came before. Something is buried here; something else is being carefully, slowly, revealed. To look at this painting is to feel the weight of deep time and the patience it demands.

Architecture of Memory
Of all five works, this one inhabits space most deeply. Doorways suggest passage; walls suggest containment. The warm tans and dusty pinks carry the heat of an old city: Rajasthani stone, perhaps, or the medinas of another world entirely. It is the most spatial work, the most inhabitable: one feels one could step through one of those pale vertical forms and find oneself somewhere real, somewhere known.

The Cosmic Burst
Untitled IV
Pure kinetic energy. A supernova. A cell cleaving at the precise moment of rupture. The scattered paint droplets orbiting the central form are not accidents: they are aftermath, debris, the evidence of force. This is the most joyful work in the collection; there is something celebratory in its explosion, something that does not mourn the destruction but exults in it.

The Contained Fire
Perhaps the most conceptually resolved work of the five. A fierce, explosive core: framed, bounded, held within geometry. The tension is almost unbearable: wildness pressing against structure, flame refusing its frame. It speaks to every creative act, every consciousness trying to exist within the boundaries given to it. The fire does not go out. It simply waits.

From the artist
This collection represents a departure and a deepening. The cosmological black backgrounds that anchor three of the works place familiar anxieties (biological, urban, emotional) against the infinite. What endures? What burns? What, finally, contains us?
